May 29, 2005 - Look into OARBS, booking software for schools. It's a complete system that a friend and I are developing to enable school boards to manage their shared assets.
My high school's mascot was the penguin.
I spent about an hour extracting some data from Canada Post's website for an application of mine. If you want a comma separated file listing the mappings of Canada's postal codes to its towns and provinces, click here.
University of Waterloo Software Engineering students of 2008 will likely find Dan Marantz's page helpful.
Furfle, rest in peace. Time of death: 2:49PM, Saturday, 9 April 2005. Dan's eulogy:
Furfle.Often purple, sometime black and blue.
We loved him.Furfle.
After suffering severe trauma to the hard drive, and with his power supply hissing vehemently, I pulled the plug on Furfle. His CPU and RAM have been transplanted into an AOpen QF50B case with a brand spanking new bottom-of-the-line motherboard. With a 10 year old CRT and an 8 year old graphics card hooked up, he's ready to roll again.
My friends will remember my troubles when trying to get a credit card. I recently ran into more troubles trying to open a chequing account. Read my letter to the three banks involved here.
I have recently added a showcase of some nifty little JavaScript/XSLT things I have done recently. Have a look.

Alternatively, you can use the free VoIP product Skype to call me online. This assumes I'm at my home computer and logged in, of course.
I'm on vacati^H^H^H^H^H^Hwork term at Arius Software, so this web site may not be updated often.
(Note to self: Start a Mona Lisa tribute page for the Waterloosers at some point...)
